Audrey Johnson

Our beloved mother and grandmother, Audrey Grace Johnson, passed away peacefully on August 7th, 2016 at Cottage in the Meadow. Audrey was born August 6th, 1932 in Gwinner, North Dakota to Rollo & Ella Colby. She was one of seven children that lived and worked on the family farm. She met our dad in school. She married Marlen Johnson in 1949 and they were married for 45 years before his passing in 1994. They had four children; Terry, Kathy, Brian, and Todd. In 1996 Audrey married Orin Johnson and they were married for 11 years. Mom was a wonderful cook and baker. She loved having family get togethers. She also loved doing embroidery and cross stitch. Most of all she loved all of her family. She was a special and loving lady. Audrey is preceded in death by her husband, Marlen, her second husband, Orin; two brothers: Donald and Roger; and her sister Betty. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Vernon); three sons: Terry (Pattie), Brian, and Todd; 11 grandchildren: Randy, Vernon, Travis, Isaac, Leah, Joanna, Melissa, Tabitha, Jeremy, Jeffrey, and Audrey Rose; 15 great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Lois and Shirley; and her brother Richard.
