Audie Hays

Audie Hays, 63 of Sunnyside passed away on May 2, 2016. He was born July 23, 1953 in Prosser, WA to Stoney and Louise Hays. Audie liked everyone and considered everyone to be a friend. Audie was a big hearted and caring man that was loved by everyone that knew him. Not only did Audie enjoy dancing and having a beer with his buddies, but also, he enjoyed many outdoor activities including rodeos and hunting. Our family is very grateful to the Dairygold family and our dad’s friends for all their support during these last few difficult months. He was touched by the people that came together to help and it brought him to tears. We are happy that our dad finally gets to meet the famous cowboy he was named after, Audie Murphy. He is survived by his children: Stephanie, Dusty, Amy, Amanda, Victoria, Audra, and Alex. He is survived by his siblings: Tony, Jeff, Claudia, LaDonna, Connie, and Shonnie. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren. Ceremony will be held Saturday, May 7th at 1:00pm at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside. Following the ceremony there will be a friends and family gathering at 5:00pm at Circle H Arena. 512 Parker Bridge Road; Wapato, WA.
