Arturo Martinez

Arturo A. Martinez age 60 of Yakima passed away on Friday, May 16, 2014 at Yakima Memorial Hospital. He was born to Alejandro and Cristina Martinez of Hillsboro, Texas on October 4, 1953. He came to Washington in 1967 where he met and married Rosalinda Olivera. He is survived by his wife Rosalinda, sons; Arturo Martinez Jr. and Joel Martinez of Moses Lake, Michael Martinez of Mabton and a daughter, Christina Martinez of Yakima. Five brothers; Dario Martinez, Juan Martinez, Jesse Martinez, Jesus Martinez and Pedro Martinez of Mabton and three sisters; Ignacia Amador of Tri-Cities, Sylvia Martinez of Prosser and Petra Moreno of Texas. He is also survived by Irma the mother of his son, Michael and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings Alejandro Jr and Guadalupe A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 10:00 am at the Immaculate Concepcion Catholic Church in Mabton WA., Burial will follow at the Mabton City Cemetery.
