Arlo Gallegos

November 14, 1971 — November 24, 2017

Arlo Gallegos was born in Yakima on November 14, 1971 and the Lord Jesus took him home from Yakima on November 24, 2017. Arlo went to school in Granger, WA until moving to Yakima with his family in 1985, where he finished his education. Arlo worked for several restaurants around Yakima and Union Gap including Denny’s and Old Town Station. At the time of Arlo’s death he was working for H.E.C. Landscaping (Hermanos En Cristo- Brothers in Christ). Arlo was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys, but his team let him down many times. He has a much greater love for his Lord Jesus Christ, and one of Arlo’s greatest wishes was that his family and friends would come to know Jesus as he does and that they would ask Jesus to come into their hearts and save them since Jesus already paid for all of our sins on the Cross. Arlo is survived by his mother Cheryl Gallegos of Yakima; his father Angel Gallegos of Bellevue; his brother Aaron Gallegos of Yakima; and his sister Melanie Ashman of Yakima; nephews include Nathan Roberson, Charles Ashman and Elijah Ashman; nieces Whitney Solomon and Brooke-Lyn Doonan. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins; along with the many loving members of his Yakima Bible Baptist Church family. Arlo’s family would sincerely like to thank everyone who has called, sent texts of support, brought food and donated money to help with funeral costs. There are no words that can convey our deepest gratitude, may God richly bless you all. Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm, Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Yakima Bible Baptist Church (6201 Tieton Dr., Yakima) with burial to follow at Terrace Heights Memorial Park.
