Arlen Dana Brandenburg, beloved son, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend passed away at the age of 68 on January 19, 2019 from causes due to Parkinson's disease. He was born February 28, 1950 in Kuna, Idaho to Ray Everett Brandenburg and Rosemary Martha Leneghen Brandenburg.
Arlen was raised mostly in Wapato, Washington. He graduated from Wapato High in 1968. He married Karen Tupy on August 11, 1972 in Wapato. They later divorced but remained close to their children, Christopher Dana and Daniel Ray. His greatest loves were his sons and his cars. He even raced at Yakima Speedway, coming in fourth place in one of his races.
Arlen worked many years for Treetop and Del Monte. He later moved to Carson City, Nevada where he worked for Radtke Tile company. He will be greatly missed.
Viewing will be 9am-12:30 pm, Friday, January 25, 2019 with a Funeral Service starting at 1:00 pm, both at Valley Hills Funeral Home Chapel (Yakima, WA). Burial will be at Reservation Community Memorial Park (Wapato).
