Anthony Dean Lucei, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at the age of 27 in Yakima, Washington.
Anthony was born in Toppenish, Washington and resided on the Yakama Nation Reservation.
Anthony is survived by his son, Kadence King Lucei; his mother Antoinette Zarate (Rocky Zarate) and his father Michael Lucei; his brothers Phoenix Zarate, Christian Lucei, Tyson Eli, Jaylen Lucei, Jeffrey Lucei, Leroy Eli, Desmon Eli; his sisters Talia Zarate, Sally Lucei and Shaina Lucei, his grandparents Darrell Jace Eli and Eugene Umtuch Sr.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Leanne M. Umtuch (Miller); his paternal grandfather Melvin C. Lucei Sr. and great grandparents Sally "Sass" Lucei and Eddie "Slim" Dick Sr.
Anthony enjoyed the time he spent with his son Kadence. He had an uncanny ability to solve rubik's cubes, draw and occasionally could catch him dancing to Strange Music, which he frequently listened to. He had a natural ability to capture a moment and take a photograph, a trait which he inherited from his late great grandfather Tommy Eli (Big Grandpa).
Anthony Dean "Sonny" Lucei dressing services will be held Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 1pm located at the White Swan Community Center with overnight services to follow. Burial will be held at sunrise Friday, March 15, 2024 at the Toppenish Creek Cemetery.
