Antonia Renfrow(Toni), 95, passed away May 31, 2014 in Yakima. She was born in McKlusky, North Dakota to John and Dora Krein. Her family moved to the Yakima Valley when she was in High School graduating from Selah High School. Toni married LaVerne Renfrow in Redding, CA. She began her church ministry in Bremerton as a Sunday school teacher while working at the Naval Shipyards. She moved to Yakima in 1948 and was a very involved member of the Stone Church. She was bus captain for many years at the church and started the missionette program. She worked for Valley Evaporator as a bookkeeper for 30 years. In 1995 Toni traveled to Israel with Ken Gaub and Rev. Carpenter and traveled around the USA and Alaska with her sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Krein; sisters, Violet Wetzel and Norma Montgomery. She is survived by daughter and husband , William and Willamae King of Yakima; brother, Marvin Krein of Atlanta, GA; sisters, Hilda White of Seaside and Olivia VanWagoner of Auburn; grandchildren, Gina and Eric Steen of Moxee and Sean and Rebecca King of Marysville; great grandchildren, Blake and Kennedy King of Marysville and Jayme, Denton, and Phillip Steen of Moxee. Visitation will be held from 1-5pm on Friday, June 6, 2014 at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Yakima. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 10:00 am at Stone Church. Burial will follow at Terrace Heights Memorial Park. Condolences can be left for the family at www.valleyhillsfh.com.
