Annie Lou Alexander, 78 was called home to the creator March 18, 2021, at Toppenish Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born February 24, 1943, in Nespelem, Wa.
Annie earned a degree from Eastern Washington University later in life and then went on to Author many books about Native Culture and traditions. Not only was she an accomplished Author she enjoyed reading and writing poetry, beadworking, sewing Native American attire, root gathering, and participating in many local events.
Annie is survived by sisters, Joyce Pinkham, Debborah Hurt, daughters, Crystal Kahclamat, Fawn Alexander, Micayla Fraizer, Rosanne Zavala, and numerous grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father Howard Alexander, mother Lena Cannon, husband Sherman Fraizer, brothers Melvin Jarmillo, Roger Hunt, Earl Wahpat JR., daughter Suzy Jo Fraziar, granddaughters Shaniah Pinkham, and Shantel Totus.
Dressing services will held March 20, 2021 at Valley Hills Funeral Home and services to follow immediately at 1910 Shaker Church in White Swan, Wa.
