Andres Esteban Morfin, 20, along with his cousin, Lianna,19, passed away in a tragic car
accident on Sunday, February 27, 2022 in Richland, Washington.
Andrew was born on February 24, 2002, in Sunnyside Washington. Andrew attended
Sunnyside schools until the 10th grade. He also attended Grandview high school.
Andrew touched so many hearts and was loved by many in the community. He had a beautiful
smile that would brighten up a room. He was charismatic, full of energy and made friends
easily. He loved playing football with his brother and cousins. He enjoyed boxing as a sport at
the Dungeon Boxing Club (#TeamJesus) of Sunnyside, where he was achieving the impossible.
Boxing provided an environment where he was able to grow mentally, physically and
emotionally and where he made many lasting friendships. The coaches who supported him
and the friends he made there were especially important to him.
He is survived by his parents, Ramiro Jr. and Ilda Morfin; brother, Alex Morfin; grandparents
Ramiro and Diana Morfin, Jose and Maria Avalos and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and
friends.
His viewing and Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 6th, from 4-8pm.
Funeral Service will be held Monday, March 7th at 11:00 am at Valley Hills Funeral Home,
Sunnyside, Washington.
