Alvina Kuh

Alvina (Wassemiller) Kuh 99 went to be with the Lord on September 21, 2021. She was born in Windsor, Colorado on May 27, 1922 to Alex & Katie Wassemiller. Her family relocated to Wapato in 1937 and later moved to Toppenish, where her father farmed until his death. She met John Kuh Jr. and they were married on August 11, 1946. They were prominent farmers for 27 years. After John’s death in 1973, Alvina continued to operate the farm herself until she retired in 1976. John & Alvina had five daughters; Carol A. Kuxhausen (Larry) of Arizona, Beverly J. Kuh of Yakima, Shirley M. Corbus (Dave) of Grandview, Peggy A. Kuh (John) and Jackie L. Kuh both of Yakima. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and four brothers. She is survived by her daughters, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
