It is with a huge hole in our hearts that we announce the passing of our beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Alora J Stone, on July 23, 2015 at the age of 76 – just shy of her 77th birthday on July 28th, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She is predeceased by her daughter, Brenda Stone, her parents, Cecil and June Ballinger, brothers Roger, Cecil Jr. (Bud), Chester and Norman; sisters Bertie, Sarah Palmer and Dorothy.
Alora was a beautiful woman who had a huge heart with so much love to give to anyone who came near her, and if anyone needed help, she was always there. No one knew love until they met Alora. God may have taken her away but she will be with us – in our hearts forever!
We love you so very much wife, Mom, grandma, and great grandma and we already miss you – your smile, your jokes, and your laughter. We hope that you are at the heavenly beach with your toes in the sand and the mist on your face!
Alora is survived by her wonderful husband of 58 years, James Stone Sr., eldest son, James Stone Jr (Connie), Debbie Watson (Daniel), Peggy Stone, and John Stone (Dawn), as well as many grandchildren: April (Pedro), Crystal, Cassandra (Luke), Brandon (Nicole), Jamie, Derek (Mandy), Johne, Rebecca, Kristen (Paul), Andrew, William (Shannon), and James (Rhabba). She is also survived by her great grandchildren: Aaron, Alexandra, Samantha S., Logan, Gavin, Ellie, Katie, Marco, Kailer, Johnny Jr., Ashton, Savannah, Serena, Andrea, Samantha B., Allison, Kaylie, and Owen, as well as many nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends. She is also survived by her loving siblings Clifford (Hazel), Larry (Kathy), Terry, Donald (Bonnie), Paul, Michael (Cathy), and Wendy (Bob) Newell.
We would like to add Brandi Adams and Kymberly Rosales who became a huge part of our family and helped Alora and gave her comfort and made her laugh. These girls were her angels that guided her home.
