Allene Hughes

n loving memory of Allene Lillian Riddle-Walker-Hughes who passed away on May 23, 2015. Allene was caring, nurturing, selfless, and always put the needs of others before her own. Allene moved from Arkansas to Washington in 1947. She attended Highland schools. Was employed with Joseph’s Warehouse. Some of her favorite pastimes were bowling, gardening & trips to the beach. Allene leaves behind her husband David Hughes, daughter Shelly Walker & grandson Kevin Rink, as well as sisters, Earlene, Arlene, Maggie, Marie, Sindy, Pam, brothers, Zurl, Alfred & John. She is preceded in death by her parents Burl & Thelma Riddle, and brothers Ewell & Bill. She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. A celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 28, 2015 at New Country Church in Tieton. Arrangements are by Valley Hills Funeral Home of Yakima.
