Alfredo Garcia

Alfredo Garcia, 37, of Selah died Saturday at Cottage in the Meadow. Mr. Garcia was born in San Juan, Mexico. He lived in California for many years before moving to the Yakima area about three years ago. He worked in the agriculture industry and for Sweet Beez Cafe in Selah as a dishwasher and preparation worker. Survivors include his wife, Laura Farias; two sons, Jovanni Garcia and Leonardo Garcia; two daughters, Zaiyra Garcia and Zamirah Garcia, all of Selah; his father, Ezequiel Garcia of San Juan; two brothers, Rodrigo Garcia of Selah and Candido Garcia of San Juan; and two sisters, Maria De La Paz and Francisca Garcia, both of San Juan. Visitation will be from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday, followed immediately by the funeral, at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Yakima. Burial will be in San Juan Cemetery.
