Adelfa Gonzalez

Adelfa Alvarado Gonzalez, 83, of Wapato, WA went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 19, 2018. Adelfa was born September 20, 1934 in Los Ramones, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Antonio and Olivia Alvarado. Our mom enjoyed being with her family she was the life of the parties. She enjoyed going to Bingo and ordering her favorite fish and fish sandwich, and also loved going to the horse races. Our mom had a green thumb for gardening which none of her children inherited; she had the most beautiful flowers and rose bushes in the neighborhood. Our mother lived life to her fullest and enjoyed being with her friends and family. Last but not least she had a great passion for dancing; she danced like no one was watching!! She probably could have been a Solid Gold Dancer on T.V. on Bandstand with Dick Clark. Mom loved life, she had a beautiful soul. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had nine children, 27 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren. Adelfa is survived by her brother Filberto Alvarado and her children Jesusa (Susie) Espindola, Jose Antonio and wife Cindy Gonzalez, Olivia Mendoza, Nieves Gonzalez, Francisco Gonzalez, Alfredo Gonzalez, Luis and his wife Paula Gonzalez, and Juanita Vargas. She was preceded in death by her parents Antonio and Olivia Alvarado, her husband Antonio Gonzalez, her brothers Rogelio, Eudelio, and Antonio Alvarado, sister Lilia Gonzalez and her son Emilio Alvarado. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 23, 2018 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM and rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Wapato, WA. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, May 24, 2018 at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church in Wapato with burial to follow at the Reservation Community Memorial Park west of Wapato. There will be a reception after the burial at All Nations on West Wapato and everyone is welcome to attend. Our loving, beautiful mother will be greatly missed. We Love You!!!
