Abdon Chavez Juarez went to be with the Lord on July 26, 2017 at 6:30 a.m. in his home in Toppenish, WA. Mr. Juarez was born July 30, 1933 in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Benito and Zenona Juarez.
He was the oldest of his siblings; he came to the United States in 1943 to Weslaco, Texas accompanied by his parents and began working as a farmworker. As a migrant worker he traveled to Arkansas, Louisiana, and many other states; and in 1948 he permanently moved to Washington State where he made it his home.
Over the years he established many relationships across the valley, and attended Templo Cristiano Assemblies of God Church in Wapato, Washington.
Mr. Juarez was well respected by those who knew him, “they knew when he meant business, he meant business,” but it all actuality, he was a man of his word and his expression of love was genuine and unique.
He will be deeply missed in all his advice and knowledge he shared amongst those who surrounded him. Mr. Juarez was extremely proud of his children, Juaquin Juarez, Flora Rodriguez, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Angelita Juarez, Miguel Juarez, Abdon Juarez Jr., Luisa Rodriguez, Leticia Mendoza, Mireya Mendoza, Irene Juarez, Sylvia Juarez, Daniel Juarez, and also many grandchildren up to the fourth generation, as well, preceded in death by Valentina Juarez, and Antonio Juarez.
We give thanks to all those who helped take care of dad in his last days.
"He peleado la buena batalla, he acabado la carrera, he guardado la fe. Por lo demás, me está reservada la corona de justicia, la cual me dará el Señor, juez justo, en aquel día; y no solo a mí, sino también a todos los que aman su venida.”
2 Timoteo 4:7-8 RVR95
