Daphne D Watts

November 13, 1927 - May 12, 2022

Daphne Watts passed away peacefully in Yakima, Washington on May 12th 2022. She was born November 13th 1927 in Missouri Valley, Iowa to Beauford and Stella (Canipe) Hiles. She married Cecil S. Watts August 24th 1946 in Yakima. Together they made their home in Yakima. Daphne retired from Pioneer National Bank in 1990. She was a member of Christian Life Center, Daphne was best known for dedication to family and her positive outlook on life. She is survived by a son Rick D. Watts; three daughters Sharon (Montey) Neumeyer, Charlene (Steve) Wood, Renee (Wade) Cassady all of Yakima; one sister Marlys Hughes of Yakima. 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Please join us for a Memorial Service on Wednesday, May, 18, 2022 at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Yakima. The service will start at 11am and there will be reception to follow at Ryan and Jennifer Messer's home (2510 W. Yakima Ave). A private family burial will be held at West Hills Memorial Park at a later date.
